Open hardware · No vendor OS · Fresh builds from our agent
The essentials are built in. Everything else is yours to ask for: a single feature or an entire face, built fresh by our agent and delivered to your wrist. Ask again until it's exactly right.
The idea
A single orange index at twelve. A dial with nothing on it. What appears there is decided by you, in a sentence, not by a product team in another country.
Day one
Time, date, steps, heart rate and temperature live on the watch itself. No account, no app, no subscription. They are there on day one and they stay.
The agent
Say what you want on the dial, a single feature or an entire face. Our agent builds it and it lands on your wrist in minutes. Not right yet? Say what's wrong. There is no limit to fresh builds; you stop when it's exactly right.
A whole dial, "sunrise, my train and nothing else", or one feature, "only tell me if my resting heart rate changes". By voice or text, any language.
Our agent writes, tests and signs the firmware for exactly that watch, inside the hardware's limits, and tells you plainly when something can't be done.
"Bigger." "Drop the date." "Orange for the train." Each fresh build arrives over the air in minutes. Between builds the watch is yours and keeps working, with or without the subscription.
Once the agent understands how you use the watch, which features you reach for and when, it begins suggesting templates that combine them into one face for your convenience. That understanding is built on your phone and stays there. Accept a template, or ignore it.

Hardware
Titanium, sapphire, a reflective display you can read in sunlight, and a radio that sleeps. No touchscreen you fight with gloves. One crown, one button.
*Target specifications for the first production run. Battery depends on the build you ask for.
Shapes, sizes, bracelets
Round or square. 42 mm, cut for men, or 36 mm, cut for women. Same display, same sensors, same agent in every one. The bracelet is an accessory: quick-release, swapped in seconds, no tools.

Bracelets
Every Tabula ships with the woven textile bracelet. The others are accessories, and they fit both shapes and both sizes.
36 mm
Nothing is removed in the smaller size. The display, the sensors, the battery life and the agent are the same. Only the case and the bracelet width change.

On the wrist
It doesn't buzz unless you told it to. It doesn't show a thing you didn't name. Most days it shows the time, and that is the point.

Open
There is no Tabula operating system to update, break, or discontinue. The firmware for your watch is open source, compiled for you, and published to your account. If we disappear, your watch doesn't.
Privacy
Tabula is a privacy-first company. The watch is yours, the firmware is yours, and the agent does its work without knowing who asked.
Pricing
Buy a watch once. Subscribe to the agent for as long as you want it to keep building. Pay in dollars or in crypto.

Why founders
The first production run is paid for by founders, not by a vendor who later needs to sell your attention. That is the whole model, and it is why there is nothing on the dial you didn't ask for.
Questions
The watch, the five basics, open firmware you can flash yourself, and two fresh builds from our agent to get you started. It is a complete watch on its own.
It keeps our agent on call. Ask for a new design, a feature, a combination of features, or a change to the one you have, as many times as you like, for $4.95 a month or $49 a year. Over time it suggests templates that combine the features you use into one face. Cancel and the watch keeps the last build you approved.
No. You ask, you get a fresh build, you look at it on your wrist, you ask again. Most people settle within three or four asks. Some never stop, and that's fine.
The understanding of how you use the watch is built on your phone from what you ask for and what you keep. It never leaves your phone. When the agent proposes a template, your phone asks for it anonymously, like any other build. We see a sentence, not a person.
It is a pre-order. The first run is built on a proven open-hardware platform with our case, display and firmware. Specifications are targets for that run, and your pre-order is refundable until the day it ships.
There is no vendor OS underneath your watch that we control. Each watch runs a small open firmware compiled for exactly what you asked for. No app store, no background services, no updates you didn't request.
Round and square are the same watch in a different case; pick the one you would wear. The 42 mm is cut for men and the 36 mm for women, but there is no rule: choose by wrist, not by label. Every edition comes in both shapes and both sizes.
Yes. Every bracelet uses quick-release pins: press, slide, done, in seconds and without tools. The woven textile bracelet is included; titanium link, leather and sport bracelets are sold as accessories and fit both shapes and both sizes.
The same watch in a case and strap made from recycled ocean plastic instead of titanium: lighter, warmer to the touch, and a third of the price. It follows the titanium run. The waitlist gets first call.
Five thousand dollars of gold goes into the plating of the case, crown, pusher and buckle, in yellow or white gold, over the titanium core. Each one is numbered and made to order, and comes with the agent for life.
Almost nowhere. Your asks are anonymized before the agent sees them and deleted after the build unless you choose to keep a history on your own phone. Health data never leaves the watch and your phone. We do not run analytics, we do not sell data, and nothing is used to train anything. We could not hand over what we do not have.
No. There is no remote control, no forced update and no kill switch. Every build is one you asked for and accepted on the watch. If we disappear, your watch keeps working exactly as it is.
Yes. Every edition and the subscription accept USDC, BTC and ETH as well as cards. Crypto payments are settled at checkout and refunded in the same asset.
