The firmware is open source. It is compiled per user and published to your account. If you prefer, flash it yourself over USB and never speak to us again.

Seven answers

7.1Do I need the agent to use the watch?

No. Time, date, steps, heart rate and temperature work without an account, an app or a subscription. The agent is for everything else.

7.2What is a fresh build?

A new firmware image, compiled for your watch, containing what you asked for. It arrives over Bluetooth from your phone in a few minutes. There is no limit to how many you ask for.

7.3Does it work with my phone?

The phone app pairs over Bluetooth LE and carries asks to our agent and builds back. It holds the understanding of how you use the watch. That understanding does not leave the phone.

7.4How long does the battery last?

The target is up to 14 days, or 7 with continuous heart rate. The display is reflective memory-in-pixel and always on; it does not need a backlight in daylight.

7.5Is the pre-order refundable?

Yes. The $199 pre-order is refundable until the watch ships. The Founding member and Gold editions are numbered and limited; the Gold edition takes a deposit.

7.6Can I pay in crypto?

Yes. USDC, BTC or ETH, as well as dollars. Checkout is not open yet.

7.7What if RVRS goes away?

The watch keeps working. The firmware is open source and your last build is in your account and on your phone. You can flash it yourself over USB.
