Does the watch work without the agent?

Yes. Time, date, steps, heart rate and temperature run with no account and no phone. Every build you already have stays on the watch.

What does a fresh build actually mean?

New firmware, compiled for your watch, with the feature or face you asked for. It arrives over Bluetooth from your phone in minutes. Ask again and you get another one.

Is there an app store?

No. There are no apps. There are builds, and you describe them.

Can I write my own firmware?

Yes. The firmware is open source and the USB port is yours. Flash whatever you like.

Are the specs final?

No. They are targets. We publish them as targets so you can hold us to them.

When does it ship?

Pre-orders are refundable until the first units leave the factory. We will send dates to pre-order holders first, by email.
